Japan divided into 9 province or prefecture, for example are Hokkaido, Shogoku, Chibu, Hogoku, Chigoku, Kyushu and many else. Every prefecture have a PPH or Prefectural Police Headquarters, in Indonesia it called Kepolisian Daerah. And in every city, for example Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, It has a PS or Police Station, in Indonesia it called Polsek. For the last organization structure is Koban and Shucaizo, it like a mini office or Indonesian call it Pos Polisi, but it is different from Pos Polisi in Indonesia. Koban and Shucaizo have many facilities like a Kepolisian Resort. In every Koban, it has 4-5 personnel, the personnel are coming from some district near the office.
In Koban and Shucaizo, have many maintenance like KSPKT in Indonesia. Every personnel works with a shift for a day, two until three times a day. Police stands in front of the office every morning, say hello, hi, or good morning to any body else who walking in front of him. After that he walks around the district, it’s about 1,4 km around the office. As you know, the comparison between police and citizen is 1:250, it' is near the standard of the United Nations 1:300. Despite the modernization in Japan, every personnel still walks on foot every day or go by bicycle. Sashumata or a long stick is a weapon that every personnel must have.
After work, the personnel go back to the office. In the coffee break, he usually take a nap in a room. There is a bed with a Tatami or I said that Tikar panjang.
Every personnel works professionals, as we know that 85% cases that happen has solved. It is because the system is succeed and also the human being, ya like in Indonesia, the system is so good, but what is about the human being ???
